Our qualified Rehabilitation Counsellors provide person centred, strengths based vocational counselling to Lifetime Care participants.

We help individuals foster hope after an unplanned event has impacted their career.

We do this by meeting people where they are at, providing support to explore possibilities via:

  • Work Options Plans (Vocational Counselling and Assessment)

  • Linking with training providers and supports (TAFE, UNI)

  • Work Experience / Job Shadow placements

  • Job Seeking Education and Skills Coaching

  • Workplace Assessments and Employer Visits

  • Review of Labour Market/Employment Outlook

  • Collaboration with families, therapists, case managers and other clincians.

In addition to our extensive rehabilitation counselling training and experience, our approach is influenced by career coaching tools and theory with a strong focus on developing career management skills.

We remain up-to-date with the modern, ever-changing world of work, including the use of AI in job seeking.

We assist people following:

Spinal Cord Injury
Brain Injury
Vision Impairment
Amputations
Burns
